The idea for this blog came to me at the Celtic Solstice race, in Baltimore, Md. It was December 16, 2006 and I had just finished grabbing my post-race munchies. The tables were well stocked with Vermont Cabot Cheese and I was stoked! As I was holding my stockpile of cheese and a cup of homemade vegetable soup, I returned to my running buddies and cheering partners. I started talking up the food table, saying that for a small race, they had one of the best assortments of food. I was imediatley chastised by my friends, saying I'm always one to critique things. Thus, racecheese.com was born! My friends and I run many different races a year and decided we needed a place where we can log our post-race thoughts.
